WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Around the year 2002 dark-coloured, unisex uniforms were the norm among the Indian medical fraternity. Medical professionals had no choice since most hospitals believed that uniforms were an expense that needed to be minimised. Or co-founder Archana strongly felt that she needed to make a difference. She realised that healthwear garments could be styled gender-wise, made with pleasing colours and positioned as an extension of the brand without significantly adding to the cost.
This led to her working closely with the management of several of the leading hospitals in the country and she progressively gained valuable experience over a decade. Eventually, in 2015, she rolled out Uniform Craft to cater to this much-needed change in the medical community and redefine healthwear in India.
The rest, as they say, is history.
